The same is true for our restaurant and guesthouse Zur Triftsperre: for three generations now, the Ortmeier family has been shaping and running this little gastronomic gem on the banks of the Ilz. Sleep like a log? There’s hardly a better place for it than here. After all, our guesthouse is located in the protected natural area of the Halser Ilzschleifen — far away from the noise of the city and any busy roads. Outside your window, the waters of the Ilz gently ripple by, an owl calls from the forest, and on the meadow in front of the house, hare and hedgehog quietly bid each other good night.
Modern rooms designed with plenty of wood and views of the surrounding greenery, some with a balcony. Simple and understated, yet warm and cozy.
